Getting started with Edukko is simple. Purchase a lesson package, create a profile and choose your curriculum, then browse our tutors and book a time that works for you. Your first lesson is free, and the answers below cover the most common questions about joining and managing your online lessons.

Yes. Full-screen video works best in Google Chrome. In the online classroom, right-click the video feed you want to enlarge, choose “Show Controls,” then hover over the feed and click the full-screen (square) icon at the bottom.

Log in to your Edukko account a few minutes before your scheduled time and open your dashboard. Click “Join” on the booked lesson to enter the online classroom automatically — no downloads or separate links needed.

We recommend Google Chrome for the best experience, as some classroom features (such as full-screen video) aren’t supported in other browsers. Make sure it’s updated to the latest version before your lesson.

Yes, you can join from a phone or tablet using an up-to-date browser. For interactive tools like the whiteboard and screen sharing, a laptop or desktop with Chrome gives the smoothest experience.

When you join the classroom, your browser will ask for permission to use your microphone and camera — click “Allow.” If you blocked them before, click the camera/lock icon in the address bar, set both to “Allow,” and refresh the page.

Yes. Lessons can be recorded using Read.ai, and we take your privacy seriously: only you or your parents can access the recordings. You can also choose to opt out at the start of any class.

First, purchase a lesson package — a package is required before you can book. Once you have one, browse our tutors, choose a time that suits you, and confirm your booking from your dashboard.

You can reschedule from your dashboard, but changes must be made at least 24 hours before the lesson starts. Open the booked session, choose “Reschedule,” and select a new time.

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the lesson begins. If you cancel within 24 hours of the start time, the lesson fee will still be charged and that session will be used from your package.
